The book is divided into three parts that speak to one another through motifs of love, closeness, memory, childhood, friendship and the need to preserve tenderness in the modern world.

Diary entriesWritten as diary entries, they lead us through seemingly ordinary moments and relationships, revealing the quiet turning points after which nothing is the same again. A single glance, conversation, embrace or brief encounter can change the way we see ourselves and the world around us.
Poems
On love and meaningThe poems speak of love, faith and solitude, but also of the search for meaning and the longing to belong. Tenderness, melancholy and the questions most of us ask ourselves at least once in life — though we rarely say them aloud — alternate throughout.
Fairy tales
For falling asleep and growing upThey were born in the warmth of evening conversations with the author’s daughter, in a particular game of imagination and tenderness. They reveal a child’s view of the world, one without wicked witches, curses or darkness, yet without turning away from reality. The world is approached with curiosity, warmth and an unrestrained belief that everything will turn out well.
Through three different literary forms and one recognisable voice, Our Stories joins the deeply personal with the universal — with what is close to all of us.
A special mark is left by the illustrations of the artist Nikola Velicki, which are not merely a visual addition to the text but hold a quiet dialogue with it. His drawings deepen the atmosphere of the book and give a face to the emotions that remain between the lines.
